Objects resist. Even when discarded.
Before they are objects, they are matter: things that insist,
even when unseen.
This project observes what is left on the margins. Leftover
things without clear function, without visible history.
Fragments that don’t fit, but remain.
There are those who collect them: walkers, workers, gatherers.
People who, without saying it, turn trash into archives, waste
into stories.
Because what we ignore doesn’t disappear—it accumulates.
And with it, another landscape forms: the landscape of excess,
of neglect, of what doesn’t belong.
No—Lugar is an invitation to see what’s not shown. To read
the city through its residues. To acknowledge that sometimes,
what we drag along is what speaks the loudest.
